Anita Sturmova – Physiotherapist
My name is Anita Šturmová. I was born under the Giant Mountains. I’ve been doing various sport activities since I was a child: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, swimming, climbing, but mainly running. In high school and college I competed in races on and off the track.
During this long time I endured injuries as did many of my friends. I started athletics when I was 12 years old. Since then my interest in physiotherpy has come a long way. It has always been my dream to study this field, so in 2007 I entered the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University, where the study was led by the idol of Czech physiotherapy Prof.Paedr. Pavel Kolář, Ph.D. The study focused on the developmental kinesiology of the childhood.
